As chairman of PolicyWorks, Pat provides strategic counsel and direction for the firm. He is also president of the Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL) where he oversees its staff and operations. Pat joined ICUL as chief lobbyist and director of government affairs in 1989 after having served in a similar capacity for the Iowa Association of Realtors. In addition to his management responsibilities, Pat remains actively involved in the efforts of PolicyWorks.
He earned a master’s degree in public administration from Drake University, is a graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management Program at Stanford University and has achieved the Certified Association Executive Designation (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives. Pat is past president of the Iowa Society of Association Executives and serves as Membership Chair of the Iowa Taxpayers Association.
