Lee manages the strategic planning and implementation of public affairs campaigns individually designed for each PolicyWorks client with a focus on results and impact. With over a decade of diverse experience in communications, he values effective messaging and critical relationship-building as vital tools to affect change in public policy. He worked for a Des Moines-based public policy consulting firm for over six years building advocacy coalitions, developing grassroots and grasstops campaigns, managing media relations, and advising clients on policy issues. Prior to that, he was a broadcaster, most notably serving as operations manager for a Des Moines radio station.
Lee received his law degree with honors from Drake Law School and graduated cum laude with department honors from Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Everybody Wins! Iowa. He lives in Des Moines with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children.
