Stroke Registry Bill Signing Ceremony
House File 2402 is a step in the right direction towards the creation of a statewide stroke registry and triage system. The goal of this registry and triage system would be to help stroke patients get to the most appropriate hospital to treat their level of stroke, which would help to prevent from the stroke from causing a disability or even death. We applaud the Stroke Task Force, coordinated through the American Heart Association, for their five years of work on this important issue.
